Since emigrating to the United States in 1987, Zhiwei Tu's work increasingly has  found a home in
important museums and private collections in the West and China as well as abroad. Several art books
about his paintings and drawings also have been published in recent years. In 2006, the city of Shaoguan
dedicated an art museum exclusively to Mr. Tu and his art work
