Zhiwei Tu is proud to be a member of the Oil Painters of America.  OPA was founded in 1991 "to focus attention on the lasting value of fine drawing, color, composition and the appreciation of light."

        OPA is devoted to creating a network of fellow artists to educate young people and the puiblic at large in what is one of mankind's oldest and most exhilarating arts.  OPA members give unstinting of their time and resources to provide "scholarships, workshops and exhibitions of art from today’s masters" around the nation.
